Setting Boundaries for the Holidays: A 90-Minute Workshop
Event description
Do your wants and needs come into conflict when you’re navigating relationships with loved ones?
Join us for a supportive, interactive workshop designed to help you build the tools to set boundaries that honor your values, your safety, and your authentic self—especially during the holiday season.
The holidays can amplify family dynamics, generational differences, and old patterns. Together, we’ll explore how to communicate what you want and need, negotiate with care, and stay in right relationship with yourself and others.
What We’ll Explore
How to identify what you truly want and need
How to set boundaries with loved ones while maintaining connection
Tools for navigating generational differences in values and expectations
Practicing conversations that foster intimacy—romantic and platonic
How to cope with the grief that can arise when boundaries shift relationships
How to move through conflict with compassion for yourself and others
Why This Workshop?
With ten years of experience doing trauma-informed work—primarily with youth at the earliest stages of learning boundaries—I’ve seen how deeply our past experiences and social conditions shape the ways we show up in relationships. My work is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity for change, healing, and empowerment, even while carrying the impact of racial capitalism and generational patterns in our bodies and behaviors.
What to Expect
We will co-create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can learn, reflect, and practice. You’ll leave with practical tools, new language, and a stronger sense of permission to ask for what you deserve—with clarity, intention, and care.
You deserve relationships where your needs matter.
You deserve to feel safe, empowered, and whole.
Come learn how to ask for what you want—and how to meet yourself with compassion when the answer isn’t what you hoped for.
