Greed – Luxury & Possession

Greed explores the art of creating rich, sophisticated, and visually indulgent portraits. Surrounded by luxurious fabrics, jewellery, reflective surfaces, and decadent details, this workshop focuses on using styling, lighting, posing, expression, and composition to communicate wealth, desire, and the urge to possess more. Rather than simply photographing luxury objects, we'll explore how the model can interact with them to create images that tell a story, moving from subtle appreciation of treasured possessions to increasingly extravagant and theatrical displays of wealth while maintaining the elegance and sophistication of vintage glamour photography.

There is an online preproduction planning session on the Monday evening (7–8pm) where we will go through the planning process and discuss how we can use the various tools we have to develop the concept, organise our ideas, and streamline the shooting process to capture great images. On the Friday evening, we have a 90-minute post-production session where we look at how to polish our images to their best and create a coherent image set.
