Sevenfold Theatre Company presents 'The Boys' by Gordan Graham

A family bound by an unthinkable crime. A past that keeps repeating, a lesson still unlearned. 

Gordan Graham's play, The Boys, is a powerful and unsettling exploration of family and gendered violence, examining its ripple effects on the women left in its wake. Originally inspired by the events surrounding the Anita Cobby murder, this fictionalised account offers an intimate look at the lives of three brothers and the forces that shaped them.

Green Room nominated Director, Tess Walsh, brings this urgent story to the stage with a modernised setting—underscoring that these cycles of violence are not relics of the past but continue to be deeply ingrained in our society. The production challenges the audience to confront the complexities of these issues and reflect on the role we all play in dismantling harmful attitudes. By placing this harrowing story in the safety of a theatre setting, The Boys invites audiences to witness, reflect, and engage in vital conversations about change.
