In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals for a better world by 2030. The Goals provide a visionary framework for social, environmental and economic action towards sustainable development and if they are to be met, business will need to play a major role.

But how ready is business to help achieve this? What benefits can be realised by aligning business with the Global Goals? And where do you even start?

SEVENTEENx will showcase some of Adelaide’s most innovative, entrepreneurial and leading individuals and organisations. In the style of a TEDx event, four speakers will each have 17 minutes to tell their story of how personal choices, decisions and actions can have a positive impact on people and the planet. This will be followed by a moderated panel session and audience Q&A.

Each event creates Impact on the ground with charity partners both local and global. For SEVENTEENx Adelaide we are partnered with B1G1 to bring water solutions to schools in Zambia; as well as the Hutt St Centre in Adelaide helping people facing homelessness rebuild their lives without judgement, and with dignity.
