Sew a Fabric Ornament Workshop

Learn how to sew a upcycled fabric ornament in this fun and festive workshop! We will provide all the materials you need, including recycled fabrics, ribbon, and embellishments. You will learn the basics of hand-stitch sewing. Once you have mastered the basics, you will be able to sew your own unique and stylish ornaments to decorate your home for the holidays!

This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced sewers alike.

In this class you will learn:

• The basics of hand sewing
• How to cut and sew upcycled fabrics
• How to add ribbon and embellishments

Each person will make one to two ornaments

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our Shop at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042. Materials and tools will be provided during the class.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults, Teens, and Children to participate in. Participants must be at least 12 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

If you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits. If a participant chooses to get a DIY Kit it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their country can receive packages from the US.
