Sew It Don’t Throw It - Short Course

Do you have clothes in your wardrobe that you’ve stopped wearing?

What if you updated them to create something new and exciting to wear?

Do you want to learn basic repair techniques or common alterations?

Learn new skills from fashion industry experts and sewing specialists to upcycle your first fashion garment and give your own clothing a new lease on life.

Sewing machines and equipment are provided. Just come ready to learn and have fun.

The course will be facilitated by distinguished Adelaide-based fashion and costume designer Scott Faulder.

Scott was Head of Design and Development for renowned Australian brand R.M.Williams and manages his own fashion label, Scott & Scarce. Notable projects include designing Australia’s Commonwealth and Paralympic Games uniforms for Australian athletes across multiple events and involvement in the high profile ‘RuPaul's Drag Race – Australia’ series.
