About the Day

Sew We Can is a community sewing bee held annually since 2016. We always choose a fun location and sharing lunch and meeting new people is a highlight of the day.

Come and join a group of twenty people to assist Freya to sew her signature bunting for her shop Thinking of You Gift.

About the Bunting

We source reclaimed materials and welcome donations cotton fabric (plain and prints) to hand screen print the alphabet onto individual flags to make bespoke bunting. The bunting is used to decorate the rooms of children in hospital or home and spell out the child's name or a greeting.
