The Sustainable Sewing Project is a hands‑on, creative initiative that focuses on sustainability and reuse. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will work with recycled council materials and transform them into new, practical items through sewing and upcycling. The project aims to give discarded materials a new life while reducing waste and encouraging creative skill development. No previous sewing experience is required and all skill levels are welcome to take part in this collaborative and environmentally focused project. Sewing machines and materials provided.
