Sewing For Beginners - Term 4 2020

Gain confidence with easy cures for common sewing dilemmas. Learn the skills to overcome the hurdles that often stop you completing projects before they’ve really got started.
This is an introductory course to the basics of sewing on a domestic sewing machine; learning how to set up a machine, use different stitches and feet, basic care, maintenance and trouble-shooting. We will also cover how to work with different fabrics to get great results for your future sewing projects.
Perfect for beginners onward: Absolute beginners welcome. This is also an ideal 'refresher' for those who haven't sewn for some time, or who want to improve their techniques.
Choose to book either Wednesday morning or Thursday evening stream, and get ready for 3 weeks (2 hours/week) of sewing magic:
Wednesday 14th-28th October 10am - 12pm
or Thursday 15th-29th October 6-8pm (sorry, booked out)
