Sewing Machine Basics Workshop For Kids Age 8 to 14

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Did your child get a sewing machine as a gift? Or buy one and wants to learn how to use it? In this class, kids will learn the basics of sewing machine operation and sewing techniques. Students will learn how to thread the machine, set the stitch length and width, and sew straight, curved, and zigzag stitches. They will also learn how to use basic sewing notions, such as pins, needles, and thread.

In addition to learning the basics of sewing machine operation, students will also have the opportunity to create their own projects. You will need to provide your own sewing machine, and confirm that it is in working condition or if its brand new in box and not been used yet.

This class is a great opportunity for kids to learn a new skill and express their creativity. It is also a great way for them to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Taught by Judy, from One by Judy.
