Wednesday 25th November 10am to 11am Launch - hear from guest speakers, learn more about the social enterprise project, find out how to get involved, and connect with people from across Central Queensland.

2. Wednesday 25th November 12pm to 3pm Social Enterprise 101 workshop - learn the fundamentals of social enterprise, help map opportunities in the region, be part of the future of social enterprise in Central Queensland.

This project is for social entrepreneurs and supporters across the Central Highlands to provide fresh support and skills, thanks to a CQUniversity partnership with local social enterprise Central Highlands Community Services (CHCS) and Emerald Neighborhood Centre thanks to funding from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, through its program Tackling Tough Times Together.

Open to anyone passionate about building community resilience for the Central Highlands, participation is free, and includes:

• Access to the Social Enterprise Toolkit online portal
• Workshops to explore, design and grow social enterprise ideas
• Networking opportunities with community and industry
• Pitch and showcase event to share your social enterprise prototype.

Designing new social enterprises
Social Enterprise For Growth, helping existing social enterprises and entrepreneurs identify and understand opportunities to grow their business and impact
Creating a social enterprise vision and eco-system map in partnership with the Queensland Social Enterprise Council
Social Enterprise Showcase for local social enterprises
