Event description

Presenting:  A FREE interactive event with Acacia Quartet and International Guests, Emile Cantor and Laurentiu Sbarcea

Join us at the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery for a special session, Sextet Insights with the Acacia Quartet & International Guests.

Presented in partnership with Music in the Regions, this session will provide insight into how the six friends, colleagues and mentors work within an ensemble, the dynamics of the group, the concert program and the instruments. Experienced artists and teachers, these six collaborators love sharing their craft, their passion for music and the instruments that help make it happen. Whether you are a musician or not, this informative and engaging session will give you an insider's viewpoint of working and travelling as a professional musician both here and overseas.

Highlights of the Session:

🎵 Artist Insights: Gain an understanding of the dynamics of ensemble performance.
🌍 Musical Journeys: Learn about the experiences of touring and performing internationally from six seasoned musicians.
🗣️ Engaging Discussions: Discover the stories behind the instruments and the music played.
📚 Educational Experience: Ideal for students interested in music, arts, or considering a career in these fields.
