Sexual Violence Awareness Month Gathering

Join us for an afternoon at the park in support of SVAM2025 to bring awareness to sexual violence within your community.

What you can expect:

• Tips and tricks for community member and survivors to navigate these conversations while providing support and understanding.

• Interactive activities involving art and movement

• Prompted conversations surrounding responding to disclosures

• Opportunities for information gathering around consent, gender-based violence, local support services, digital safety, etc.

• Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.

Who is welcome?

Whether you are a survivor yourself, a support person of a survivor, or a passionate community member willing to join the fight to end sexual violence one conversation at a time.

While we understand that these kinds of conversations are not easy ones to have, our intention with the design of this event is to make it approachable with multiple entry and exit points, so people are able to roll in and out in ways that feel most supportive to them.
