This is a two day course designed for allied health professionals, teachers and other people who support people with disability, to better provide inclusive sexuality and wellbeing support to people with disability.
The training covers:
Day 1

Understanding the models of disability
Exploring common myths and their impact
Understanding the intersection of sexuality & disability
Reviewing Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE)
Exploring common challenges and teaching strategies
Understanding supported decision making and dignity of risk
Day 2
Sexuality and relationships resources and accessibility
Supporting diversity in bodies, gender and sexuality
Exploring sexual behaviours; responding and supporting
Understanding protective interrupting and responding
Improving confidence when teaching about sexuality and relationships
Teaching: Consent, porn and sexting, and healthy and unhealthy relationships
