Spice it up in the bedroom, no partner required! If you’re curious whether you’re getting the most out of your sexy solo play, let’s explore.

Solo sex can be enlightening, fun, and creative, and dedicating time to enhancing your self-pleasure can be an empowering act of self-care. Jax will walk you through the basics of pleasure anatomy, introduce ideas and practices for expanding your solo-play experience, and share some of the perfect complementary tools Lotus Blooms has to offer to support your exploration.

Whether you’re new to intentional self-pleasure or looking for fresh ways to shake up your routine, you’ll leave with new ideas for discovering what feels good to you.

We’ll cover:

building a personal pleasure practice
setting the vibes
exploring different types of sensations
expanding beyond goal-oriented/orgasm-focused solo sex
Incorporating fantasy
incorporating tools and toys

What to expect from this workshop:

This workshop is an opportunity to practice curiosity, communication with your own body, and noticing what you actually want without having to perform pleasure for anyone else.

Our workshops are not play spaces, nor are they meetups. This workshop is discussion and demonstration based; there will be no nudity, required touch or disclosing or sharing with the group. If you are looking for local groups that host more interactive play events, we are happy to recommend them! There will be no solo play or touch allowed in the space. That exploration is for home.

Who is this workshop for: This workshop celebrates solo pleasure for all bodies, genders, and experience levels and it is also an instructional workshop.

The Fine Print: Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexual orientations, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store. Workshops are currently held at Ms. Moxie's Moon Shop, 102 N Fayette St, Alexandria, VA 22314, one block from Lotus Blooms. Workshops generally run about 90 minutes including time for Q&A. Afterwards, attendees will be walked over to shop Lotus Blooms with a 15% discount.

If you are running late:
Because the topics of sex, sexuality, intimacy, etc are so personal and often taboo in our society, our staff and educators work very hard to create events that make people feel comfortable learning and sharing. Much of the working agreements and standards of behavior tend to take place at the beginning of our short workshops. As such, if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the workshop is scheduled to begin, we will not be able to allow you to join this time around and your tickets will be forfeited. We hope that this helps to encourage people to come on time and enjoy the entirety of the event, and create a comfortable space for everyone attending!
