SFC Beginners Workshops CC2
Event description
This workshop is exclusive to SCNZ Non-Certified Fabricator members only.
SCNZ and HERA have previously held SFC Beginners Workshops in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024, helping steel constructors on their journey toward SFC / AS/NZS 5131 certification to CC2. Following positive feedback and ongoing demand, we are pleased to offer the workshop again.
With AS/NZS 5131 now cited in the Building Code, more projects require SFC-certified constructors. The SFC scheme ensures compliance with AS/NZS 5131, which sets out detailed quality and welding requirements.
Steel constructors often need guidance to meet these standards. This workshop will step through system implementation using real-world fabrication shop examples. By the end, you’ll have started an action plan to achieve CC2 certification in your business.
