Social Justice Shabbat at Lita Rae Cafe!

Join us for a shabbat dinner fundraiser at Lita Rae's Marvelous Cafe! We'll provide the food & wine, you bring yourself & we'll have a marvelous time! We will enjoy a vegetarian meal with homemade challah, and a menu featuring various hyper-local produce like backyard blackberries, apples, pears, figs, herbs, and more. 

Sliding scale ticket options are available to make this event accessible to as many people as possible. Anyone who is low on funds is welcome to sign up for our work trade spots to help with set up or clean up.

Accessibility info: please covid test before joining us. We will have an air filter running & keep the front door open for additional ventilation. We may end up setting up outside for greater covid caution. Please mask when inside except for when eating and drinking. Our space is wheelchair accessible and off of bus lines 19 and 70; street parking is available. 

50% of proceeds will go to Rad Fruits PDX, a queer, trans, and BIPOC community land project creating space for healing, growing, and gathering. Check out our fundraiser & feel free to share it widely!

The rest of the proceeds will go to the Al Shawa Project, a New York based aid group bringing clean water, food, and other supplies to families in Gaza. They have a fundraising goal of $650 -- as of 9/13 they have about $250 to go. Let's help them reach their goal!!!
