Description
Shake the Hand that Feeds You is the largest fundraiser event that we plan. In particular, it raises funds for our local Slow Food chapter, which we use to support community gardens/farms and food-related events throughout the year.
This year's chef line-up includes:

Dan Varga, The Hungarian Butcher
Laura Lee Di Cintio, formerly of Ajumama Korean Food truck
Po Cambo, Hot Sauce Boss
Tommy Tucker, Pastry Chef and coordinator of Columbus State's The Mix
with Daniel Riesenberger of Dan the Baker providing bread service
Regular Ticket Pricing
The below amounts are in USD and do not include associated ticket fees. Tickets are especially limited this year!
Children 5-12 (with member code*): 55
Children 5-12 (non-members): 65
For individuals 13+ (with member code*): 110
For individuals 13+ (non-members): 130

If you are no longer able to purchase tickets, please email markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org immediately to be placed on a waitlist. Additional seats will be added to this ticketing site should they become available. Ticket sales will remain open until we reach maximum capacity.
*REGARDING MEMBERSHIP PRICING
If you are a paid member of Slow Food USA and affiliated with Slow Food Columbus or any other Slow Food Chapter, note that you are eligible for special Member pricing for this event! To receive the discount code needed to activate the Member option, please contact Chapter Leader Mark Anthony Arceno (markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org) with your Slow Food Member ID number. If you are not a paid member of Slow Food, but would like to join and receive reduced pricing for this event, please visit https://slowfoodusa.org/become-a-member/ to join or renew your membership. REGARDING REFUNDS
As we seek to raise funding through this event, we do our best to keep an eye on our event budget, sourcing ingredients as we are able from our community partners. As such, tickets (except for committed tables) are refundable up to 14 days in advance of our dinner. Do know that tickets are transferable; that is, if you find out last-minute that you cannot attend, please feel free to share your seat(s) with someone else and let us know so that we may update the guest list on our end. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Know that we kindly accept any and all donations sent through this online platform alongside your ticket purchase.

Meet the chefs in the event kitchen, check out our silent auction items and start bidding, and mix and mingle with fellow diners during the first hour and a half of the event. Tours of Mitchell Hall and the culinary classroom spaces will also be available. Four appetizers await you, featuring: - sweet corn | Parmesan | zucchini - white gazpacho | croissant - prawn | grits - white cheddar | fig | blackberry
