Back for 2020 with an all new line up

One of our longest standing annual events here at Watsons, Shakespeare By The Bay is a collaborative performance concept between Bard On The Beach, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel and the Woollahra Council, this event is set to bring world-renowned Shakespearean performances to life. Year after year we take over Robertson Park by moonlight to enjoy these performances.

This March enjoy spectacular, culture enriching performances of “All’s Well That ends Well” & “Julius Caesar” with the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s sparkling harbour, from Robertson Park. Performances will run evenings over two weeks 13 March until 22 March.

Your ticket sale goes directly to the performers, as the actors all practice and perform in their own time. Watsons takes no proceeds from any of the sales and all funds are handed directly to Bard on the Beach to distribute between the actors. That’s true passion for Shakespeare!
