Event description

Presented by Margaret Thanos

I WONDER MEN DARE TRUST THEMSELVES WITH MEN

In preparation for reviving her production of Timon of Athens, and with the help of Damien Ryan and other Sport For Jove actors from that show, Director Margaret Thanos will share what she has discovered about striving for authentic life in a world beset by corruption, while directing Shakespeare's last play to get a fully professional premiere in Australia.

Have you ever wondered what those odd bits of Shakespeare that you never get to see might tell us, if they're given the chance? Join us to share fresh insights from the actors who find out by doing it.

Presented in by the CREATE Centre in collaboration with the Chau Chak Wing Museum.

The lecture will take place in the Nelson Meers Foundation Auditorium of the Chau Chak Wing Museum, University of Sydney.

This event will not be streamed live, but will be recorded and posted after the event to the YouTube channel of the CREATE Centre.
