ShakesPeers - Scene Exploration 2.0

Join us for another round of Shakespeare-inspired scene exploration at our May ShakesPeers salon!

Full Circle Theatre is thrilled to announce the May edition of our Shakespeare-inspired community building salons. Shakespeare can be intimidating but we love it and want to give you the opportunity to come, meet like-minded theatre artists, and mess around with some text.

Whether you're a long-time Bard lover or totally Shakespeare-curious, this event is a great way to connect with other theatre folks, read some incredible text, and see what comes to life when it hits the air.

What’s in store?

Scene Exploration
We’ll have scenes from across Shakespeare’s canon printed and ready to go - comedies, tragedies, romances, and everything in between. (Which is histories. #ShakespeareNerds.) Read out loud with a group (no pre-work required!) and let’s chat about what makes these scenes tick. No performance pressure, no expectations. Just exploration, curiosity, and good company.

Not feeling like reading?
No worries! You're more than welcome to attend and listen. There’s always something to gain from hearing the words out loud and joining the conversation.

Drinks & Snacks
We’ll have a reasonably priced concession with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus some snacks to keep you fuelled while you nerd out.

Where: Morpheus’ Rehearsal Space (Parkdale Community Centre, 3512 - 5 Ave NW)
Cost: $5 (to cover space rental)
Limited Spots: Only 15 tickets available

This is a casual, community-focused gathering. It’s not an audition or a class - just a chance to connect, explore, and enjoy Shakespeare’s work in a welcoming space.
