ShakeSPLOSION - Drama program

Are you eager to join a drama performance at the 2027 Fringe? Here's your opportunity—consider auditioning!

"ShakeSPLOSION!!!" by Andrew Geha is a madcap sprint through every play written by the Bard. From 235 years of English kings in the History Plays, to (nearly) every death in the Tragedies, to every girl who dressed up as a boy in the Comedies, it's like watching Shakespeare's entire canon fired out of a cannon—scattering prose, verse and characters across the stage. Sword fights! Word fights! Witches, ghosts and murder! All in 80 minutes!! Performed by you!!!.

Please note that if you did not attend auditions, you must contact us first. To commit to this performance, participants must be able to attend regular rehearsals held on Mondays from 4:00 pm–5:15 pm during school terms.

Dates: Term 3: 27 July 2026- 14 September 2026

Time: 4.00 pm-5.15 pm

Location: Civic Centre, Cafe, 89-91 Murray Street, Gawler, SA, 5118.

Age: 12 to 25 years

Cost: Free (To be eligible for this program, you need to either live, work, or study in Gawler, or have a connection to the community.)

Bookings: are essential - one ticket will book all 8 weeks

*All youth attending must complete a Youth Space Membership and Talent Release form each year.

* Please note: 12-year-olds must have already commenced high school. School holiday programs are available for 12-year-olds who have not yet started high school.

* One ticket = full term, once term has started, please reach out to us for future intakes.

*Gawler young people will have access to tickets first.

Each young person must complete a youth space membership form- which collect emergency information and will be emailed to you once booking is made.
