Description
SHAKING IT UP: The Life & Times of Liz Carpenter (77 min) From co-director Abby Ginzberg: Over her 89 years, Liz Carpenter was often front and center where history was unfolding – hers is the story of blazing professional trails while pushing forward an agenda for women’s rights, political engagement, and the environment that remains highly relevant today.
Join us for an inspiring profile of a ceiling-breaking woman, Liz Carpenter. Following the film, Tom Needham of WUSB Radio's Sounds of Film will lead a conversation with the co-director, Abby Ginzberg.
