Under the setting sun and rising new moon, we gather—barefoot, wild-hearted, and sovereign—to awaken the goddess within. Shakti Awakening Goddess Dance is a sacred outdoor immersion for female-identifying beings to reclaim the sensual, powerful, radiant truth of the Divine Feminine.

This is not just a dance—it’s a Shakti temple initiation. A remembering. A homecoming.

Rooted in the spiritual tradition of Tantra, this offering invites you into the living current of embodied awakening—where the body is revered as sacred, the heart is the gateway to truth, and union begins within. In the tantric path, Shakti is the creative force of the universe, the pulse of life itself. When women come together in conscious sisterhood, we activate this power—not just for ourselves, but for each other, and for the world. In these sacred gatherings, we remember what’s possible when the feminine is fully honored: healing becomes collective, freedom becomes embodied, and the future is rewritten in love.

Ritual-infused and ignited by sisterhood, this journey opens the body’s energy pathways through breath, sound, and movement—inviting you into the sacred portal of your divine essence. Through sensual self-awakening, expressive embodiment, and collective activation, we culminate in a liberatory dance of Shakti rising.

This is an evening of embodied ritual and elemental remembrance.

You’ll be guided through a progressive journey—one that awakens your energy, opens your body’s wisdom, and invites your deepest truth to move, breathe, and dance through you. Together, we’ll enter a living temple of sisterhood where the sacred meets the sensual, and freedom becomes devotion.

As the sun sets and the new moon rises, we’ll drop into ceremony, release what no longer serves, and attune to the pulse of the Divine Feminine within. Through curated soundscapes, guided practices, and intentional movement, we open the gateways of the heart, the womb, and the voice—making space for the full expression of our aliveness.

The journey culminates in a sensual dance set designed to further awaken your goddess energy and embody your deepest heart’s desire—an ecstatic ritual of reclamation, liberation, and love made visible.

You’ll be held in a powerful energetic container of trust, sovereignty, and soul connection—with open-air space to move freely, feel the grassy earth beneath your feet, express your unique light, seed your heart’s desire beneath the new moon, and be witnessed in your wholeness.

🔥 Your Facilitators

Eden is a love and intimacy mentor, facilitator, event producer, and DJ. Like the garden, Eden is not just a name but an invitation to create your own personal paradise and embrace your unique gifts. With over a decade of experience, she guides people to release stress and anxiety, regulate their nervous systems, and unlock deeper love, freedom, and pleasure. Her mentorship, events, courses, podcast, and performances are all weaved with the same intention–to guide others from burn-out to bliss and to fully embody their pleasure, power, and purpose.

Elana Stern is a devoted guide in Tantra Yoga, walking the path of love and supporting individuals, couples, and groups in cultivating sacred connection, embodied presence, and lasting transformation. She was drawn to meditation as a teenager, studied Eastern Philosophy and Religion academically, trained with celebrity fitness icons in NYC, and earned Yoga Teacher certifications in both Vinyasa Yoga (Cindy Lee lineage) and Restorative Yoga. Her foundation is further enriched by training in Tibetan Buddhist, Transcendental, Vipassana, Mindfulness, and Sonic Meditation modalities, as well as Pranayama breathwork and Reiki techniques. Her journey expanded through advanced certification with Yoga Chitta—a Black-owned yoga school serving the BIPOC community-where she mentors yoga teacher trainees. After a life-altering kundalini awakening opened the portal to deeper energetic and tantric realms, she became a certified facilitator of Tao Tantra Arts (Mantak Chia and Osho lineages) and a graduate of the International School of Temple Arts (ISTA). With a vision for evolving consciousness in Philadelphia, Elana founded the Tantra Collective—producing monthly offerings for embodied spiritual connection—and ONE LOVE HUB, the city's co-created community for conscious events. With decades of practice in movement, meditation, and energy healing, Elana's teaching bridges the physical and the spiritual. She invites you into a deeper relationship with your body, your breath, your heart, and each other-where love becomes the path home to your divine nature.

Do I need to have prior Tantra or dance experience?
This experience is open to all adult women-identifying bodies, and we welcome first-time as well as seasoned participants.

What type of people participate?
All adult women-identifying bodies are welcome here! Whether single or partnered, mother or child-free, all sexual orientations and backgrounds are invited to come together to co-create this field of sisterhood in an open, supportive, and nurturing container.

Is there an age restriction?
There is a certain level of self-awareness and maturity required to create a safe container in which we can explore our sensuality freely within this space. For the comfort and safety of all, participants are required to be over 18 years old.

Can I come alone or is this experience for couples?
Come as you are—solo, with a friend, or bring your partner! Latihan is an invitation to journey into your own embodiment, individual sovereignty, and divine intuition. From this place, we may move into somatic connection with other energies.

What do I bring? And how should I dress?

• Please wear comfortable, flowing clothing in which you can move freely and feel sensual.

• Please prepare to be barefoot or in socks.

• Please bring a water and a water bottle.

Is the start time important?
Yes! Doors open at 6pm, and please arrive by 6:15pm to help ensure that our container is well held, secure, and safe for all. The container will close promptly at 6:30pm.

Will there be nudity or intimacy in this experience?
While Tantra practices are eclectic from White to Red Tantra, this experience is primarily a clothed, sensual, nonsexual container. In the safety of sisterhood, you may desire to move more freely in your own body. We will discuss the boundaries of our practices in the circle.

Are intoxicants or altering medicines permitted?
This is a sober event, and no intoxicating substances are allowed. We will invite energy to move naturally to connect with the Divine Feminine within. After closing our circle, we'll integrate and connect over sweet fruit.

What is the location of this event?
Shakti Awakening Goddess Dance will be held at a private residence in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia. The exact address will be shared via email upon registration.

Is there parking available?
There is limited driveway and street parking available—carpooling is highly encouraged. Please be respectful of neighbors' private properties and lawns, and be mindful not to block any driveways.

Where do I enter the temple?
We will gather behind the private home in the backyard garden (address will be revealed after registration). In the event of rain, we will shift our ritual inside.

Do I need to provide my contact information when registering for this event?
Yes. We ask for your real name, email address, and phone number when you register and purchase your ticket. This ensures we can communicate important event details and helps us maintain a safe and intentional container for all participants. Tickets purchased with false or incomplete information may be subject to cancellation.

Will there be tickets available at the door?
Advance tickets are required to receive the private location, and space is limited to ensure a safely held container and a powerful experience for all participants. Our events have sold out in the past, so we encourage early registration. Once tickets are sold out, you’ll have the option to join the waitlist in case additional spots open.

Are sliding-scale tickets available?

What is the COVID protocol?
While masks are not required, we ask that you take mindful health and cleanliness precautions. Please arrive in good bodily and clothing hygiene, wash your hands before entry, and refrain from attending if you’re feeling unwell.
