Join us for this amazing one-day collaborative event with facilitators coming together from around the south island.

Dean Campbell and Bob Sanson from Nelson will bring their cacao mahi and guide us with a beautiful cacao ceremony.

Kathy Guidi and Bruce Scanlon from the Banks Peninsula will facilitate a Shamanic Breathwork journey accompanied by gongs and singing bowls.

And local Leeann Hill will lead us through an hour-long restorative Dru Yoga session.

Our intention for the day is to foster community, share, be in circle, and release and rejuvenate together!

OUR DAY TOGETHER INCLUDES:

* 1 hour opening circle and cacao ceremony facilitated by Dean & Bob
* 3 hour Shamanic Breathwork ceremony facilitated by Kathy and accompanied by Bruce. This includes an intro talk on the modality, some group sharing, a 1+ hour breathe, and art integration process

* 1 hour lunch break
* 1 hour Dru Yoga restorative session led by Leeann

* 30 minute gong and bowl sound bath by Bruce

* 30 minute final closing circle

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

KATHY GUIDI

Kathy is a Shamanic Breathwork Master Practitioner through Venus Rising Association for Transformation. She has over 400 hours of formal training through Venus Rising and another 100 hours of study/training in Rebirthing, SOMA Breathwork, Transformational Breathwork, and Biodynamic Breathwork.

When not facilitating, she is busy as a retreat host and event organizer at Birdsong Retreat & Sanctuary, the place she has called home for the last 17 years. She is an all-around WOW-girl (ways of wellness) seeking to optimize body, mind, and spirit. She is passionate about earth stewardship, sacred relationship/ayni with all things and beings, and helping people with their journeys towards wholeness. Her passion centers around personal development, understanding the psyche, healing our internal wounds, and becoming conscious heart-centered humans.

BRUCE SCANLON:

Bruce is co-creator, event organiser, and kaitiaki of Birdsong Retreat & Sanctuary and is a gong master. He has been playing gongs since 2012, makes his own singing bowls, and studies Tibetan Buddhism and Sacred Geometry.

DEAN CAMPBELL & BOB SANSON:

Dean and Bob are the former owners of Spiral, a crystal and metaphysical shop based in Nelon and online. Dean is an emmissary of The Cacao Ambassador and he is the host and creator of his weekly La Medicina radio show on FreshFM.net which airs live on Fridays, 8 pm.

LEEANN HILL:

Leeann is the owner of Hillistic, a natural therapy clinic located in Cape Foulwind. She offers naturopathy treatments as well as massage and access bar therapy. She is a certified yoga instructor in the lineage of Dru Yoga which encompasses sequences of movement known as energy block releases which help shift blocked energy from our muscles and joints to create greater flexibility of body and mind.

SHAMANIC BREATHWORK OVERVIEW:

Shamanic Breathwork utilizes a dynamic breathing process called conscious connected breathing along with chakra attuned music, bodywork, and an art integration & sharing process.

You are guided on a journey where you can drop deep and tune in to your inner wisdom and achieve an altered state of consciousness, by-passing the ego mind, and tap into what’s underneath the surface thereby leading you to experience whatever is needed for your highest growth and healing, be it emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual healing.

During a breathwork session, you can experience any number of states of being from anger & grief, to utter bliss and connection to the cosmos; you can have a womb memory experience (rebirth), you might uncover childhood memories; or you may experience downloads or a deep Knowing. The full spectrum of humanness is available and no two breathwork journeys are the same.

Upon the closure of the Breathwork journey and your return to the physical world, you will be invited to partake in the art integration aspect of the ceremony. This is where you are given time to draw or express your experience, and then share with the group if you feel called to do so.

Absolutely no experience is necessary – come exactly as you are and be open and curious to what may arise. You will be taught the simple and powerful breathwork technique which will take you on a magical journey of inner discovery!
