Once again, Shandy is back to transport you - and this year, we invite you to step through our portal and into a world of fantasy and fiction, as our Adventuring Party sets off below the earth and across the horizon to find glory, mystical crystals, friendship, and community on the dancefloor.

For the members of our party not gifted with fins and gills, we've secured passage aboard the famed vessel ‘The Lady in Red’ to take us to this ancient and powerful seat of power - but be warned, we set sail from the New Farm Park River Hub at 1:00PM SHARP!
To ward off any attempts by mermaids, mermen, and mer-them to stop us short of our destination, we've enlisted the help of one of the most powerful sea witches from across the seven seas - SELLMA SOUL - flanked by our seasoned party captains, Cherry Pom & Zelphia Mann.
To disarm the Atlanteans and ensure we can safely dock, we've secured a squad of the finest sirens to weave melodies and get everyone within a 5 km radius movin' and groovin' to the beat, featuring DJ sets from:
- chubbz
- Jaguar B
- Mothafunk (Naarm/Melb)
Once we've managed to make our way to the heart of Atlantis, we'll finally have everything we need to save the day, and thus complete our quest - so it's only right that we celebrate this win and wrap up the weekend with some healing revelry as we cruise along the Brown Snake.

General Release Tickets: $50 + BF
There is limited capacity on the boat so tickets are strictly limited - we recommend grabbing yours quickly before they're all gone!
This ticket is just for entry to the 'TO ATLANTIS' party on Monday 6th May (Labour Day Public Holiday). For tickets to 'Shandy Takes A Trip: UNDERGROUND' at Door 84 on Saturday 4th May, head HERE.
You can also choose to make an additional donation via Humanitix to help subsidise & cover the cost of a ticket for someone on no/low income, or even just to show us some love and help us pay the bills 😘
PLUS:
- there are a limited number of free tickets for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people & Trans Women (Femme Queens) of Colour; and
- we will do allocate a limited number of tickets at a reduced price for anyone with no/low income who wants to party - shoot us a message on the Shandy Facebook page or Instagram and we'll work something out with you.

🎵 NOTES FOR THE EVENING 🎶
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we hold this event, the Turrbal & Jagera/Yuggera peoples and pay respects to Elders, past and present - and also pay respects and offer our love to the First Nations community attending our event. We recognise that Sovereignty was never ceded and that we live and gather on stolen land.
- As always, try not to assume gender, sexuality, or pronouns – if you’re chatting and vibing with someone, it’s probably worth briefly asking for their pronouns - and don’t make it into big deal if you get ‘em wrong: just say a quick sorry and move it along.
- Consent is key – ask before touching and await a clear response; fuck yes or no thank you!
- Be respectful and considerate – do your bit to make the space safer and more comfortable for others: a party is only as good as the people attending, and we all have a role to play in having the best night ever!
- Racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic behaviour/attitudes will not be tolerated. Please see Shandy team members, barstaff or security if someone is making you uncomfortable.

♿️👁 ACCESS 👂🔊
Unfortunately the boat is not wheelchair accessible, as there are stairs at the entrance to both levels of the boat.
Strobe lights will not be used during the event, however some lights may occasionally move at a fast speed.
The upper level of the boat will play host to the dancefloor and DJs, whilst you'll be able to take a seat, chat, and purchase drinks on the bottom level.
