😈💦 SHANDY pres. 'THROB' feat. Jason de Cox (SYD) ⛓️🫦
Event description
As the nights grow longer and the dark creeps in, something stirs in the shadows…❄️🔥
The temperature might be dropping, but we all know the truth… winter is when things really heat up in Magan-djin/Brisbane. You can feel it in the air—thicker, darker, charged with possibility. People crave closeness. Skin. Heat. Release. And we’re here to give it to you.
Shandy invites you to celebrate the Winter Solstice and give in to the season’s primal pull by joining us for our filthiest, sweatiest party yet. Let the darkness wrap around you like a harness and get ready to sweat, get ready to moan, and get ready to…

😈💦 THROB feat. Jason de Cox (SYD)⛓️🫦
saturday 21st june | 8pm – 1am | warehouse 25

Our kinky bacchanalian blow-out makes its return to Warehouse 25 in the shadowy backstreets of Milton to get you all hot, bothered and dripping wet once again across an evening stuffed full of euphoric and erotic emancipation. Check your worries—and your clothes—at the door, and step into a space built for pleasure, freedom, and full-body expression.
Our coat check is your chance to transform—whether that means slipping into something tight or flowing free, rubber or lace, layered or naked. If you’ve been waiting to debut that new piece of kink gear or finally embrace your inner succubus, this is your moment. 🖤

And for those who like their pleasure with a little more edge, we’re thrilled to announce that Boot Co Brisbane will be taking over the basement and facilitating a dungeon for deviants of all genders - offering a safe, supervised space to explore the darker arts of desire, featuring:
Shibari demonstrations, showcasing the beauty and restraint of rope bondage with an emphasis on safety, consent, and communication; and
Flogging sessions on the iconic St Andrew’s Cross, where trained Dungeon Tops will be facilitating sensual, consensual impact play for those curious to learn—or simply to watch.
Whether you’re a seasoned kinkster or a wide-eyed beginner, all participation is guided by Boot Co’s community-led ethos and strict safety protocols.

📸 And because this night is about presence—not the perfect selfie—we’ll be popping a sticker on your phone camera and trusting our specially briefed Shandy photographers to capture your filthiest, fiercest looks.
To soundtrack your descent into pleasure and the depths of the longest night of the year, we’ve handpicked a lineup of DJs ready to guide you through waves of sweat-soaked ecstasy. With the evening starting off with sublime and ultra fine DJ sets from…

Once these two disco divas have you loosened up and ready to receive, we have an extra special guest joining us from Sydney to bring us all to the point of no return…
JASON DE COX
This cheeky devil has been setting Sydney ablaze with his selections and producing events as part of ‘Angels Only’ - the queer collective behind events like queer sex party ‘Hostage to Pleasure’ and ‘Show Us Ya Tips’, a club night raising money for SWOP, bringing the local, queer and sex worker communities together.
Just a few months ago, he had Gogo and Thomas hooked on his hypnotic and seductive rhythms at beloved Sydney institution Loose Ends - and it was then that we knew we simply had to invite him up to join us for our very own sultry soirée.
But that’s not all - we’ve secured stars from across the city to grace our stage and drive you wild late into the night, featuring…

🎵 NOTES FOR THE EVENING 🎶
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we hold this event, the Turrbal & Jagera/Yuggera peoples and pay respects to Elders, past and present - and also pay respects and offer our love to the First Nations community attending our event. We recognise that Sovereignty was never ceded and that we live and gather on stolen land.
We ask that everyone attending abides by the following:
As always, try not to assume gender, sexuality, or pronouns – if you’re chatting and vibing with someone, it’s probably worth briefly asking for their pronouns - and don’t make it into big deal if you get ‘em wrong: just say a quick sorry and move it along.
Consent is key – ask before touching and await a clear response; fuck yes or no thank you!
Be respectful and considerate – do your bit to make the space safer and more comfortable for others: a party is only as good as the people attending, and we all have a role to play in having the best night ever!
Racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic behaviour/attitudes will not be tolerated. Please see Shandy team members, barstaff or security if someone is making you uncomfortable.
We want people to feel as safe and welcome as possible, so please feel free to message the Shandy Instagram or Facebook page with any queries or concerns.
Last but not least, look out for your friends and other party-goers & stay hydrated!

♿️👁 ACCESS 👂🔊
The majority of the venue (Warehouse 25) is wheelchair accessible and there are wheelchair accessible toilets. Unfortunately, the dungeon is down a flight of stairs in the basement. Whilst the main bar is located up some stairs on the mezzanine level, we will ensure there are still drink sales available at ground level.
Strobe lights will not be used during the event and we endeavour to ensure no strobe effect will be used on the lighting.
The dancefloor is polished cement.
With regard to sensory concerns, the venue is essentially a fairly large open-air space. We believe the basement will probably be the best space for anyone needing a lower sensory environment. We would love any thoughts or feedback on what you would be needing from such a space, as we will incorporate this into how we set-up such a space.
If you have any further questions around access and whether the event will be suitable for you and your needs, please don't hesitate to message our page for more info.
