Event description

We're thrilled to have author Shankari Chandran come to our bookshop for Refugee Week 2025

A lawyer in the social justice field and the author of books such as "Chai Time at Cinnamon Gardens", "Safe Haven" and the recently released "Unfinished Business", Shankari uses story-telling to explore dispossession and the creation of community.

This will be a truly fantastic event and afternoon tea will be provided.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the amazing Blue Mountains Refugee Support Group, as well as proceeds from a raffle on the day.

Tickets will sell out fast so get in now to secure your place.
