Event description

The SHAPE exhibition features a selection of students’ exemplary 2024 HSC major projects from Design and Technology, Industrial Technology, and Textiles and Design.

The exhibition is open at Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct from 17 March to 12 April.

Seminars are held in The Rebel Theatre at the Australian Theatre for Young People, on level 2 of Pier 2/3 which is accessible by stairs or lift from the ground floor exhibition space foyer.

SHAPE seminars

Please note: In 2025 Shape Seminars are not separated by year group. All seminars are now open to Years 11 and 12 students.

In-person seminars for Year 11 and Year 12 HSC Design and Technology students engage with markers to unpack projects in the exhibition.

All seminars include time to view the exhibition and attend the NEW Learning Lab (where you can listen to 2024 HSC students share their personal experiences from their major project journeys’).  We recommend planning a 2 hour visit: 1 hour for the seminar and 1 hour for the exhibition and Learning Lab.
