Shaped: Exploring Life & Relationships with Clay
Description
A creative workshop for young adults with separated parents.
The session offers a gentle way to reflect on love, relationships and the impact of family separation.
Lead by a facilitator from Relationships Australia, participants will be guided through a clay-based creative workshop. Using air-dry clay, you’ll be invited to create an “object of love” - something that represents your understanding of love, care, or the kind of relationships you hope to build.
The session will include a screening of the film, Dad’s House, a short film that explores the emotional experience of a young person in the early stages of their parents’ separation.
The workshop is designed to be open, low-pressure, and reflective - no creative or pottery experience needed.
What to expect:
Short film screening (30 mins)
Guided discussion and reflection
Creative clay activity
A relaxed, supportive group environment
This is a small group session intended to create a space for reflection and relaxed conversation (if participants feel comfortable).

TopSpace Studio is located on the third floor of 109 Elizabeth St. Enter via Fast Forward Digital and walk up the stairs. Continue up one more floor from the lego shop and you've arrived.
