Share your pre-loved items & swap for the re-loved treasures | Port Phillip EcoCentre | Sat, 9th Aug
Event description
Discover the joy of a shop where everything is absolutely free!
Welcome to Share&Swap Shop – a community "shopping"!
Join us in sharing your pre-loved items and swapping for re-loved treasures. Just like an op shop or garage sale but here "everything is free".
What to bring?
Please share maximum 5 items.
Anything non-bulky, non corded in a good condition that you'd love to share with close friends.
Think of ....clothes, shoes, books, kitchenware, plants, cosmetics, seeds, garden harvest, pet items, postcards, kids’ items, toys, puzzles, bags, photo frames, jewellery, art supplies, hobby items, umbrellas, stationery, long shelf-life food etc.
No Items to Share? No Problem!
You are still welcome to join our swap event even if you don’t have anything to share. Come along, enjoy the community vibe and find some treasures to take home!
Time for event:
12pm - 12:30pm Items drop-off (we won't accept donations past 12:30pm). Once you drop items, our wonderful volunteers will sort and display those items for the free shopping.
12:30pm - 2pm Free Shopping
Note: We'll be joined by our partners to provide add on services to our participants as follows:
FrankenStitch will showcase creative examples of upcycled clothing and accept torn, stained, or unwearable denim to help divert textiles from landfill.
After Australia’s first textile recycling pick-up service, will demonstrate how you can responsibly recycle unwearable clothing from home using their platform.
Food rescue group will be providing free, fresh food to participants—rescued from supermarkets to prevent waste and support community access.
Let's connect to actively contribute to "CIRCULAR ECONOMY" by reducing waste and building a sustainable community.
Why Participate?
