SHARE Forum: AI, Deepfakes and Image-Based Abuse
Event description
What is SHARE?
SHARE is a network for people who work with young people around sexual health and relationships education. SHARE aims to provide regular support, through regular forums, so workers can better support and educate the young people they work with. SHARE forums are an opportunity for professionals to come together and discuss emerging information, share sector and organisation updates, and present new resources.
What is the topic for this SHARE forum?
The topic for the July 2025 SHARE forum is AI, Deepfakes and Image-Based Abuse.
The forum will include a presentation from:
The Office of the eSafety Commissioner – discussing how young people are experiencing AI-assisted image-based abuse, the contexts that are driving the use of deepfakes and support strategies to prevent and respond to AI-assisted image-based abuse.
There will also be time allocated for attendees to share sector and/or organisational updates. This may be new services, projects, offerings, and/or resources from your organisation. It is also an opportunity to network and to seek support from other organisations within the sector.
Who should come?
Anyone who works with young people who wants to keep up-to-date with sexual health topics, meet others in the field, and share resources.
What do I need to bring?
As this is not a formal meeting, and there will be no Minutes sent out after the event. If you would like to write any notes, you may wish to bring a note pad and pen.
We will also have a table set up for displaying any resources, handouts or information you might like to bring and share with the group.
