Event description

In celebration of National Carers' Week which runs from 15 to 21 October this is a time for all Australians to recognise and celebrate the important contribution the 2.65 million unpaid carers make to their families and our community.

When:  Monday 16th October at 2pm at Mildura Powerhouse - Hugh King Drive, Mildura

We invite Carers from Sunraysia to an Afternoon Tea held in the new Mildura Powerhouse at the riverfront with the Councillor for Community Health & Wellbeing Cr Troy Bailey and an open invitation to Carer's in our community to thank them and show Mildura Rural City Council's appreciation for the caring role these people undertake in our community.

Caring for others is a vital role in our society that will touch all of us at some point in our lives, either because we will need to care for a loved one or we will find ourselves in need of care.

Help us support Victoria’s unpaid carers so they can continue to provide truly incredible care for the people in their lives that need them.
