Share the Dignity's - Sponsor a Bag Packing Event 2025

Join us as we come together to make a difference and pack bags filled with essentials for those in need! Share the Dignity is so excited to host our 10k Pack-a-Thon, as part of our Sponsor a Bag program to support our beloved It's in the Bag campaign. 

During the September 2025 school holidays we will bring together supporters, corporate partners, volunteers and the St Patrick's College community to pack more than 10,000 adult bags. These bags will be shipped directly to our Charity Partner's across Australia, to ensure women, girls and those who menstruate who may be experiencing homelessness or fleeing domestic violence, are provided with the most basic of life's essentials.

Please be aware that when attending this event the key tasks include: packing bags, light lifting/moving of items, unpacking items, opening boxes and walking. Please ensure that you review our Terms and Conditions for more information and at all times only participate to your ability. All participants must wear closed toe shoes. We also welcome people aged from 10-17 years, who are accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible person. 

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow time to sign in. There is plenty of street parking (no cost) in the surrounding streets, please ensure you observe any signs/restrictions and are mindful of the neighbours. The closest train station is the Shorncliffe Train Station.
