Event description

Welcoming you, and your people to the opening of Sikkum Tikkun* @ Cura Heaing Centre in Maroubra. A fortnightly gathering of 12 people, where we connect about the big topics of life whilst acknowledging the experience of grief as a central aspect of in our lives.

This workshop is for anyone who feels they want to dive a little deeper, want to share a little more whilst knowing that they are in a safe space, where everyone is present for the same reason. To be vulnerable, held and seen.

Sharing circles are not only about sharing… they are just as much (if not more) about listening.

Through the big topics of our lives, we connect though our stories. we practice deep listening. We notice ourselves wrestling with our own minds, wanting  to add something to the other persons experience, trying to hear what the person is actually saying over what we are hearing, sometimes so taken by our own pains that we are not hearing at all... and then gently bringing ourselves back into balance.

This practice is magic.

Life is  transformed when we  learn how to witness one another.

Life is free when we become ok with the emotionality of our beings.

✨Opening Circle 2.2.22 ✨

I look forward to seeing you there, and anytime you feel called to join us throughout the year. You will be welcome.

Suggested donation is $40

* Origins of the Name of the event: Drawn from hebrew and Jewish tradition, 'Sikkum' translates to summary and 'Tikkun' to repair - these circles are an opportunity to create healing and completion in our lives.
