Event description

Shark & Fox twist folk into a fever dream of rhythm, song and reckless harmony. Canada’s Jaron Freeman-Fox bounces around violin-controlled synths and a child’s fretless stratocaster, Australia’s Emily-Rose Sharkova pumps accordion & miniature keyboards through the subs and Rose Callaghan drums a kit fashioned from an Argentinian bombo and Indonesian hand drums. Somewhere in between bent grooves and exquisite vocal incantations, they reshape traditional sounds into something wild, beautiful and unexpected. Come curious. Come limber. Come weird.

Opening the eve shall be a short solo set on the piano by Emily-Rose & The Wild.

Food, drink and merriment will be served from the mouth of the Monkey & Dragon - so please consider dining at the establishment! Note - Alcoholic beverages are a BYO situation.
