Event description
Join Renew Perth Branch and Solar Dwellings for our Pre SHD event.
This event will include talks from sustainability experts and to speak to SHD homeowners on a one-to-one basis throughout the day.
What to expect on the day
- 10:00am -Head up to the function room where you can chat with a homeowner, buy Renew and Sanctuary magazines.
- 10:30am -Talks begin in the function room
- Griff Morris from Solar Dwellings - Designing energy-efficient homes on any budget, and making the right choices at the design stage will save you money over the lifetime of your home.
- Debbie Bute from Leading Energy - NatHERS energy efficiency assessments, learn about how they work and why we need them
- Ricardo Merlacco from Solar Gain - Solar panels, batteries and heat pumps, how they work and what you need to know before buying them
- Justyna Gingell from Stone Fox Studio - Home automation and interior design
- 1:00pm - 2:00pm "Open House" Our speakers & homeowners will be at their display tables ready to chat and answer your questions individually. Buy Renew and Sanctuary magazines from the Renew Perth Branch, and find out about subscriptions and memberships.
Booking tickets
- $20 per person - Ticket Costs include GST (Plus booking fee)
- We have a limited number of $12 tickets available for those experiencing financial difficulty. As these tickets are limited, please select them if you would otherwise not be able to attend. If you would like to support someone experiencing financial hardship, you can donate via the Pay It Forward/donate option. Money raised that is not used for tickets to this event will be donated to Renew & The Hunger Project.

Know before you go
- Instant confirmation. Please check your email junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation straight away
- No need to print tickets, we would like to reduce the waste where possible
- Water, tea and coffee will be supplied in the function room
- Please bring what you need to take notes
