Event description

A one-day event in creative, coffee-fuelled Melbourne for a community of likeminded women keen to try coding and explore careers in tech. Expect to learn, meet other incredible women, connect with mentors, enjoy cupcakes, and feel inspired.

Whether you’re just starting out or brushing up on your skills, we’ve got you covered. Choose between beginner-friendly HTML & CSS, JavaScript, Python & Django workshops—all in a self-paced format, supported by our incredible team of industry mentors.

What’s included:

  • A female* friendly environment

  • Beginner-level coding workshops (no experience required!) which you can do on the day and take home!

  • Mentoring from experienced tech professionals

  • Career advice from recruitment experts

  • Networking opportunities with employers in tech

All you need is a laptop, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to learn.

FAQ's

Who is this event for?
Women* of all ages with basic computer skills. We’ve welcomed attendees aged 5 to 80! (Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

Do I need to know how to code?
Nope! These workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Our mentors are here to help you every step of the way.

Do I need to bring my own computer?
Yes, please bring your own laptop—we aren’t able to provide devices.
