    Event description

She Codes, Lead Professional Development and Turbans 4 Australia present...

We are so excited to be bringing the She Codes one day workshop which has taught more than 7,000 women across Australia to Western Sydney for our first ever Multicultural edition of the workshop.

Join us for a day of coding fun in a friendly and safe environment.

We offer beginner-level HTML & CSS and Python workshops, building websites and games, in a self-paced environment, mentored by industry professionals. PLUS we offer lunch, cupcakes and a quick dance break in the afternoon. No experience is necessary - just a laptop, a sense of adventure and a willingness to learn.

Our goal is to increase the diversity in the tech community, spark collaboration, creativity, and expand networks. If you've been curious about coding for a while, or are looking to brush up your skills, come along and join the fun.

This event is hosted in collaboration with Lead PDA and Turbans 4 Australia. We are actively encouraging women from diverse backgrounds including migrant women and women from indigenous backgrounds who might otherwise be underrepresented in the tech ecosystem.
