• Hands-On Coding: Dive into practical coding exercises and projects in a beginner-friendly, hands on format. Go at your own pace, with skill level increments to suit you.

• Intro to AI: Let's talk about it!

• Expert Guidance: Learn from experienced developers who are passionate about empowering others. Our last event had 17 mentors from the Perth community from a range of companies including Rio Tinto, Commonwealth Bank, Bankwest and more.

• Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded women in tech and build your professional network.

• Recruitment Advice: Chat with our friends at Robert Walters recruitment to get advice about the market, feedback on your resume and actionable next steps for your career.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is for you! Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. We've had all ages join - bring your kids, your grandma, or your bestie.

Who is this event for?
Women* of all ages with basic computer skills. We’ve welcomed attendees aged 5 to 80! (Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

Do I need to know how to code?
Nope! These workshops are beginner-friendly. We have a huge team of mentors who are here to help you every step of the way!

Do I need to bring my own computer?
Yes, please bring your own laptop.

Can I return a second time?
Absolutely, however a fair use policy applies - click here. Spaces are strictly limited, and no-shows do mean that others on the waitlist can't make it. Repeat no-showers will, unfortunately, have their tickets cancelled to make it fair and accessible to everyone.
