SHE ROARS - Hear me roar! See me Soar!

An event to provide women an opportunity to roar loudly and be heard. Hear from 6 South Australian women on a range of topics (and spend the night connecting with fellow women in business and careers. This event is an opportunity for women new to speaking to share their stories and knowledge, you will hear them speak on a variety of topics (speakers announced soon) and also with a range of confidence levels. This is our opportunity to come together to lift other women up to soar!

Simone Larwood - It Only took me 35 years…
I will introduce Your Photos Filed and give a brief overview of my business.  I will also speak about the road that has led me to being the founder of Your Photos Filed - the many jobs I have had across the many different industry sectors, and the reasons why I choose to do what I am currently doing -  learning new skills, putting myself out there, stepping out of my comfort zone - rather than sitting in a comfortable, part-time office admin role.

Katherine McLeod -  A perspective on living a life you LOVE. Four pillars to structure your inspirational life mission.
Four life focus points to inspire with practical everyday processes to live a life you love, on purpose for you, your family and the world.

Natasha Mundie - Welcome to your Villain Era
I will be talking about prioritising yourself in your own life and letting go of the "it women" persona of having the insta perfect life. Time to embrace the real you and step into your villain era

Emma Holdsworth - What can we do about The Unmet Needs of Mothers.
We live in a society that chronically misunderstands and undervalues and needs and desires of mothers. I would like to shed some light on the unmet needs of mothers and what we can do to prioritise mothers in our community.

Includes jam packed night of inspiration and connection, raw dessert bar and nibbles, tea, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks.

Attending this event not only supports the women on stage but also Studio Safari owned by SA Woman member Kate Dyer and catered by From the Wild owned by SA Woman Member Shanti Wilby.

COVID POLICY

All attendees must purchase a ticket prior, they are not available at the event. Please do not come along if you are unwell or have been in contact with anyone has COVID-19. Please refrain from handshakes/hugging and use hand sanitiser where possible. Events may be cancelled should restrictions arise or facilitator illness, this is out of our control and tickets will be refunded if an event is cancelled.

This event is designed to encourage the women on stage who are not seasoned speakers. We ask for you to bring your cheering voices, your ability to listen and be respectful of the women sharing their stories. 

We welcome women from ALL backgrounds of business and careers. However, we do not condone hard sales or recruitment of consultants etc through our community or events. The focus of these events is connection and support for one another.  Our events are for all women who wish to create new connections, grow and empower themselves through new knowledge, opportunities and more. We also believe it is important to understand and respect that everyone has different beliefs, life backgrounds and experiences. Please refrain from promoting views or opening up discussion that has the potential to be triggering for others or controversial in nature.


PHOTO RELEASE

By booking my seat at this SA Woman event, I understand that photos may be taken and shared and that myself or my business may be tagged by SA Woman Australia with my permission. I understand that I can let the host know if I do not wish to participate, or that I can offer to take the photo or suggest a photo that still showcases my business (where possible) eg business cards. The purpose of taking, sharing and tagging of people in photos aligns the community pillars to connect and showcase South Australian Women.
