Event description

Partake in an authentic paddock to plate experience at a working sheep farm and shearing shed, where lamb grown and produced on farm is s prepared and served by Stuart Derham from The Local Metung. Using a whole lamb, Stuart will prepare a range of cuts as part of a cooking demonstration, whilst having a conversation how each section of lamb lends itself to a variety of cooking methods and dishes. Then enjoy what Stuart has prepared with local wines and beers in a relaxed atmosphere. Chat with Farmer Neil about their farm operation and Forge Creek Lamb business model.

This event is for guests to enjoy a variety of East Gippsland produce with a focus on lamb, experiencing local cooking and skills around a fire and in a shearing shed, on a picturesque prime lamb and wool producing East Gippsland farm – the home of Forge Creek Lamb.
