KYABJE SHECHEN RABJAM RINPOCHE IN SYDNEY — OCTOBER 2026

With great joy we share the news that Kyabjé Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche will visit Sydney in October 2026 to confer important empowerments, reading transmissions, practical guidance and teachings.

Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche is one of the most highly revered masters in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and an important holder of its major lineages. He spent almost 25 years with his teacher and grandfather, Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, receiving extensive teachings, empowerments and transmissions. He continues that lineage today through his activities.

Rinpoche has not taught in Australia since 1996, so this visit offers an exceptionally rare opportunity for Australian practitioners to receive precious teachings, empowerments and transmissions directly from one of the foremost holders of the Nyingma lineage.

We will also welcome Matthieu Ricard, who has served as Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche's translator for more than twenty years and will translate for Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche throughout the event.

EMPOWERMENTS (WANG)

• The 100 Peaceful and Wrathful Deities (Zhitro) of Chokgyur Lingpa — the complete mandala empowerment of the 42 peaceful and 58 wrathful deities, from the terma cycle of the master Chokgyur Lingpa. It also serves as an empowerment of the Guhyagarbha (Secret Essence) mandala. When teaching the Guhyagarbha Tantra, His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche required the qualification of the kama empowerment of the Nyingma Guhyagarbha peaceful and wrathful deities; however, His Holiness granted permission that the Zhitro empowerment from the Chokgyur Lingpa terma could serve as a substitute.

• Rongzom Kilaya — the uncommon Vajrakīlaya lineage of Rongzom Paṇḍita stands among the most precious and extraordinary transmissions preserved within the Nyingma tradition, and is of particular importance to the Yeshi Khorlo sangha.

• Yang Nying Pudri (Razor of the Innermost Essence) — a Vajrakīlaya terma cycle revealed by Tertön Sogyal Lerab Lingpa. It serves as one of the two yidam practices for the Rigpa sangha and forms part of their foundational Three Roots practices. It allows students to practise the brief sadhanas of Vajrakīlaya.

• Tiglé Gyachen — the profound innermost secret guru yoga practice of the Longchen Nyingtik tradition.

READING TRANSMISSIONS (LUNG)

Rinpoche will also grant the reading transmissions for the practices associated with all of these empowerments, as well as the lungs for:

• Zurchungpa's Eighty Chapters of Personal Advice — the final testament of the great Nyingma master Zurchung Sherab Trakpa

• Shechen Gyaltsab's Commentary on this text

ELIGIBILITY

Those wishing to receive the empowerments and transmissions must meet the following conditions:

• Have taken refuge in the Three Jewels

• Have genuine faith and confidence in the Vajrayana teachings and in the Guru

• Have completed 100,000 recitations of the Vajrasattva short mantra, or 10,000 recitations of the Hundred-Syllable Mantra

In recognition of the sincere aspiration of practitioners in this age, and with great compassion for those earnestly seeking the Dharma, Rinpoche has graciously agreed that those who are unable to complete the prerequisite before the empowerment may attend by making a heartfelt commitment to fulfil it afterwards.

ABOUT KYABJÉ SHECHEN RABJAM RINPOCHE

Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche is one of the most eminent Tibetan Buddhist masters. Grandson and spiritual heir of the great Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (1910–1991), he is considered to be the combined emanation of the three main lamas from Shechen Monastery — the previous Shechen Rabjam, Shechen Kongtrul and Shechen Gyaltsap, Gyurme Pema Dorje.

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche was regarded by many as one of the greatest Dzogchen masters of the twentieth century, and the very embodiment of Padmasambhava. It is Khyentse Rinpoche's profound and rich teachings of the ancient Nyingma lineage that Rabjam Rinpoche has dedicated his life to transmitting. In his presence and through his teachings and transmissions, the presence and blessings of Dilgo Khyentse are palpable.

Rinpoche is greatly loved and appreciated everywhere on account of his generosity, his modern approach and his warm and endearing presence. The Rigpa community holds him especially close to their heart, deeply grateful for his constant kindness and guidance.

我们怀着无比欢喜之心，与大家分享一则殊胜的消息：怙主雪谦冉江仁波切将于2026年10月莅临悉尼，赐予多项重要灌顶、口传、实修引导及教学。

雪谦冉江仁波切是宁玛派最受敬重的大师之一，也是该传承主要法脉的重要持有者。他曾追随其上师暨祖父怙主顶果钦哲仁波切近二十五年，领受了广博的教法、灌顶与传承。他透过自身的弘法事业，延续着这一法脉传承至今。

雪谦冉江仁波切自1996年访澳之后，至今未曾再度在澳大利亚传法，因此此次莅临，是澳大利亚修行者极为难得的殊胜机缘，得以直接从宁玛派最重要的传承持有者之一座下，领受珍贵的教法、灌顶与传承。

届时，我们也期待迎请马修·李卡德先生莅临。他曾担任顶果钦哲仁波切逾二十年的翻译，此次法会期间，亦将为雪谦冉江仁波切担任翻译。

【灌顶（藏文：wang）】

• 秋吉林巴伏藏文武百尊（寂猛本尊）灌顶 The 100 Peaceful and Wrathful Deities / Zhitro

此寂猛本尊法门出自秋吉林巴大师的伏藏法系，包含四十二位寂静本尊与五十八位忿怒本尊的整体坛城灌顶，属于伏藏传承的法门，同时也是《秘密藏续》（密意总集续／大幻化网，Guhyagarbha）坛城的灌顶。顶果钦哲法王过去在讲授《秘密藏续》时，要求学人须具备教传宁玛派《秘密藏续》寂静忿怒本尊灌顶的资格。然而，法王开许：秋吉林巴伏藏中的文武百尊灌顶，亦可作为教传《秘密藏续》寂静忿怒本尊灌顶的替代资格。

• 荣（松班智达传承）系普巴金刚灌顶 Rongzom Kilaya

荣松班智达（Rongzom Paṇḍita）不共金刚橛传承，是宁玛派所保存最为珍贵殊胜的传承之一，对慧轮僧团而言尤具重要意义。

• 普巴金刚阳宁普底 Yang Nying Pudri

意为「密义精要之利刃」，是伏藏师索甲·列瑞林巴（Tertön Sogyal Lerab Lingpa）所取出的金刚橛伏藏法门，为本觉会僧团两大本尊修法之一，亦是其「三根本」基础修持的重要组成部分。此灌顶能让学人修持普巴金刚的简轨成就法。

• 明点印 Tiglé Gyachen

龙钦宁体（龙钦心髓）传承中，甚深秘密之上师瑜伽修法。

【口传（lung）】

仁波切亦将同时赐予上述所有灌顶相关修法的经典传承（口传），此外还包括以下典籍的口传：

• 《苏琼巴之八十忠言》——宁玛派大成就者苏琼·喜饶扎巴（Zurchung Sherab Trakpa）的最后遗教

• 雪谦嘉察仁波切对此文的注释

（《苏琼巴遗教》连同顶果钦哲仁波切的注释，已有英文版本，可透过 Shambhala／Snow Lion 出版社购得。）

若希望领受灌顶与口传，须符合以下条件：

• 已皈依三宝

• 对金刚乘教法及上师具足真实的信心

• 已完成十万遍金刚萨埵短咒，或一万遍百字明咒的持诵

有鉴于末法时代修行者的至诚发心，仁波切以广大悲心体恤众生求法之殷切，特开许：若未能在灌顶前圆满上述念诵数量，亦可发自内心承诺于灌顶后如期补足，即可参加。

【怙主雪谦冉江仁波切简介】

雪谦冉江仁波切是当代最为尊崇的藏传佛教大师之一。他是伟大的怙主顶果钦哲仁波切（1910–1991）的孙嗣与法嗣，被公认为雪谦寺三位主要上师——历代雪谦冉江、雪谦康楚及雪谦嘉察·久美贝玛多杰——三者合一之化身。
