Event description

Queerious: Exploring Queer Existence and Resistance

During this Shed Talk, our speakers will delve into the world of queer existence and resistance. Through personal stories, insights, and thought-provoking discussions, they navigate the complexities of Queer identity, highlighting the triumphs and challenges faced by queer individuals.

The speakers will share their diverse experiences within the queer community, offering perspectives on intersectionality and the ongoing struggle for acceptance and equality. From historical struggles to contemporary activism, they explore the ways in which queer individuals have resisted societal norms and fought for their rights, inspiring change and fostering a more inclusive world.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUR ELDERS

Rainbow-flag

We pay our respects to those amongst the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex communities who have worked to support the improved health and wellbeing of their peers, children, families, friends, and country. We honour the elders in the diverse communities of which we are a part and we celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people's bodies, genders, sexualities, and relationships that they represent.
