ShedTalk - Climate Change: one of the great challenges of our time | PORT MACQUARIE
Event description
Join us at the Mid North Coast Community College MakerSpace for another in our ShedTalk series of Community Conversations - Climate Change: One of the greatest challenges of our time!
Climate change is now one of the most prominent issues of public concern, and impacts on so many areas including biodiversity, health, business and economics, intergenerational justice, immigration and defense, and moral and humanitarian concerns. But many of us don't clearly understand what "climate change" means, what causes it and what we can do about it.
Angela believes that community members not only need to be aware of the impacts of climate change but should understand the science around it - and most importantly, the solutions that are available and becoming more and more practical. Includes interactive Q & A Session.
Angela has just taken on a new role at Bushfire survivors for climate action, a community of determined bushfire survivors who share their stories to drive urgent climate action. Our mission is to create a safe future for all Australians.
