Sheets to Pants Upcycling workshop

This school holiday workshop is for kids (9y.o. plus), teens and adults. A great activity to do with your child! (discounted ticket price for adult and child attending together)

Learn to make a pair of long pants from sheets, doona covers and pillow cases. The pants pieces are all precut so you choose a combination of pieces to create your unique pair of pants, with patch pockets added!

Basic sewing machine skills are required - threading and adjusting sewing machine and understanding basic sewing construction techniques.

DETAILS:

• All materials and use of equipment are included in the cost

• You can bring your own sewing machine (must be clean and in good working order, ideally with instruction manual), or use one of ours.

• Light refreshments also provided

Our classes and workshops: Our teaching is created using circular economy principles. This means, we will be using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics, and haberdashery items. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
