Sheffield Country Polo 2024 - back for a 3rd year - how good!

And the cherry on top: this year's event is only 4 days out from Christmas, what a way to celebrate the festive season. Bring your tinsel and your mistletoe, decorate a tree and lets make this year's polo Christmas themed.

All the good things we love about the polo will be back, obviously our awesome polo teams and their incredible ponies. Our corporate sites, carparks and GAs, some fun half and full time entertainment, judging of the best car boot and best corporate site, finishing off with a good old boogie to some music before we head home.

In order to be able to continue to run this event into the future there will need to be a few tweaks. We can not tolerate intoxication/unruly behaviour. We will have marshals walking around during the day and we have given them the authority to remove anyone who they believe to be acting in an unfavourable way. You will be kindly asked to leave the venue and there is the potential for a ban from any future events.
At the end of the day we want everyone to have a great day out.

You will also notice our corporate site sizes are smaller this year, this encourages a more intimate/casual feel.

The band will finish playing at 8pm and everyone needs to have left the site by 8:30pm.

For ease of transportation and to hang out with your mates for a little bit longer you can purchase a bus ticket to get you back to Darfield where you can party. There will also be courtesy vans running throughout the day and night if you need them.

As always, for health and safety purposes we need to keep this event to those over the age of 18.

We know you're all here for a fun day out watching the polo, as are we, so we just need to be sensible.

Tickets are limited so don't delay, get in quick or miss out.

Event timetable:

12:00pm – Gates open
1:30pm – Team Parade
2:00pm – First match
2:30pm – Second match
3-4:00pm – Half time entertainment
4:00pm – 3rd and 4th Play-off
4:30pm – Final!
5:15pm – Polo prizegiving
6:00pm – Live Music from the Lee Martin Band
8:30pm - Event finishes, busses will leave and everyone to vacate the domain

Gold (50 guests) - Silver (30 guests) - Bronze (16 guests)

Ring side positioning for your tent/gazebo/marquee
Bring your own food, BBQ, picnic etc.
You will need to supply your own tent/gazebo (this is a perfect advertising opportunity). These will need to be in place/set up either on the Friday or by 10:30am at the latest on the day of the polo.

Car Boot

5 Guests

You will receive your own designated (approx. 3m) ringside parking spot.
Back in, pop the boot and settle in for an afternoon of entertainment.
Please bring your tables, chairs, picnic hampers etc. Why not challenge your friends to the best car boot set up!
Please don’t set up gazebo’s etc as you could obstruct other guests view of the polo.

General Admission

Standing room or bring your deck chair. Bring your picnic basket.
