Poetry Workshop Panel: Find Your Community Without a Masters of Fine Arts

Room: Career, Business, & Nonprofit Classroom, 2nd Floor | 2:30 PM- 3:30 PM

Moderator: Inga Schmidt, CLP Poetry Subteam member

Pre-registration is extremely helpful for planning purposes, but is not required. Pre-registered attendees will get priority seating in the event of limited seating. Walk-ins are welcome if capacity allows. 

Biography

Sheila Carter-Jones madwomen in the Attic lecturer; She earned her BA from Carnegie Mellon University and both an M.Ed. and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Violeta Garcia-Mendoza involved with Carlow's madwomen, is a teacher.

Bonita Penn I'm aware that Ms. Bonita is involved with the United Black Book Clubs of Pittsburgh and there is a strong community there to support writers, hoping she would touch on that.
