Event description

SHEQ (ICAM) - Incident Investigation Training

Professor James Reason discovered that there are often many factors leading up to an incident. In fact, there are often several layers of protection that must break down for major incidents to eventuate.

Each layer of protection may be incomplete or lacking in some area like a piece of swiss cheese providing gaps that allow that layer of protection to be penetrated. When these gaps line up, multiple layers of protection can be penetrated at once and the scale of incident can escalate leading to catastrophic events.

This course & the SHEQ software provide a great foundation to perform sound incident investigations & build concise SHEQ reports

Benefits of Online SHEQ (ICAM) training delivery

We've had a lot of positive feedback about the level of interaction, regardless of whether trainees have been at work, in a remote location, in different states / regions or working from home. Of course, online delivery also means less time away from the workplace & financial sense as it eliminates travel expenses & wasted time. Each session is run via video conferencing facilitated by us as we continue to support you through one session covering the SHEQ (ICAM) theory and one session working on your real current unsolved SHEQ (ICAM) issue through to developing the Incident Cause Analysis Method report for your project.

We're including 6 months FREE access to our SHEQ2Go software as part of the course to ensure you have the best experience from the online training and get to check out the software for yourself.

What do I need?

You will need a computer with online access, as well as video and audio. There is no need for software download. The RCA2Go software is web based and a login will be provided for this.
