Shibari 101 - fundamentals course
Event description
This Shibari beginner's course is the perfect way to take you from the interest, to immersing yourself into the world of tying.
Spread over 5 fortnights, this course has been curated to give you a widespread knowledge base including the first frictions, ways to play with rope and your partner, quick fun ties, through to tying your first structured and traditional harness, the Takate Kote (TK). An absolute perfect stepping stone to dive into shibari head first and gain some fun and applicable skills to play with from then on.
Starting with our first session on the 1st of June, the course schedule is as follows:
- Saturday 1st of June @ 11:00am - 1:00pm
- Saturday 15th of June @ 11:00am - 1:00pm
- Saturday 29th of June @ 11:00am - 1:00pm
- Saturday 13th of July @ 11:00am - 1:00pm
- Saturday 27th of July @ 11:00am - 1:00pm
A tying partner is required for completion of the course, however the first 3 weeks can be self-tied (solo). You are more than welcome and encouraged to both attend as a dyad for the entire course :)
Tickets are per dyad (1 rigger & 1 model), covering all 5 sessions.
